A Scottish Ski Trip…With No Snow

Arriving in the highlands, the 10 degree average temperature was resembling more that of a mild autumn day than deep midwinter. The perfect skiing conditions found all over Scotland the week before were rapidly disappearing and as a result it became quickly apparent that this would be a ski trip with no snow…Instead we  traveled around Lochaber visiting Glenfinnan, Arisaig, Malaig and the surrounding coast. Here we found golden sweeping beaches and turquoise blue waters, and even managed to avoid the rain, for most of the day anyway. We ended our trip in Glen Nevs, hiking up along Allt Coire a’Mhusgain and managed to tracked down some stags in Glen Etive.
